Steve's background includes over 35 years in banking and commercial finance. In 1999, Steve formed Builder's Capital Inc. in Las Vegas. Starting with a small office and one employee, the company funded over $1 billion in new loans over a ten-year period while employing a staff of six dedicated real estate professionals. The company provided commercial mortgage brokerage services to local developers, investors, and landowners. Lenders include private investors, pension and retirement plans, local banks and Wall Street mortgage conduits.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics, California State University, Chico.
Douglas E. French, Loan Production Manager, NMLS# 1464582
Doug French worked as a real estate lender for a number of Las Vegas banks beginning in 1986. After serving as the president of an economic think tank, teaching economics at the university level, and writing market commentaries for two financial newsletter companies, French returned to Las Vegas in 2015 and has worked for a local developer and originated loans for a private money lender.
French has over 30 years of lending experience in Nevada. He graduated from UNLV with a Masters in Economics in 1992 and holds a B.A. in finance and economics from Washburn University. French earned a Paralegal Certificate from UNLV and is the author of three books, and numerous scholarly and popular articles.
